Angel Stadium - Home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Constructed in time for the 1966 season, Angel Stadium hosted the Los Angeles Angels as Anaheim Stadium with a capacity of 43,204. When the Los Angeles Rams became a tenant of Anaheim, Anaheim Stadium underwent expansion to a capacity of 65,158. When the Rams moved to St. Louis in 1995, the home of the Angels was left as a baseball only venue. Therefore ownership decided to convert the 30 year old venue back into a baseball only stadium. Renovation was complete by 1997.
Angel Stadium seats 40,950 fans and resides at 2000 Gene Autry Way Anaheim, California 92806. The stadium features a natural grass playing surface.
